Yeah....
I need to read (or write) a book on how to ward off the “romantic” advances of guys who don’t interest me.
This week, there were a lot of those.

(this makes my heart smile, one of the most unfair decisions I read in law school was overturned by the democratic process at its best).
Not a wizard
My dad just referred to me as a “muggle.” Not sure what to make of that.
Yes, the Harry Potter kind.
Girl Crush!
Becuase K has done this from time to time, I was inspired to post my own.
I heart Ginnifer Goodwin, and I’ve loved her in everything I’ve seen her in, before Mona Lisa Smile and since. She’s a fantastic actress and totally convincing. Her part in He’s Just Not That in to You looks like an especially good role for her. I guess we shall see.
25 (+1) things you always wanted to know about me...
I put this list on facebook (the ‘book), so I figured I’d put it here too. Enjoy!
1. I am extremely easily amused, and will laugh at just about anything that was meant to be funny. Anyone who’s ever spent any significant amount of time with me can attest to this.
2. The summer after my sophomore year, I challenged myself to give up cookies for the whole summer. I’d like to think I...

From last week’s How I Met Your Mother (or HIMYM): Barney Stinson’s Top 25 Party Schools Bingo Card. Totally….Awesome.
Here are the “rules:”
following prerequisites must be met for Bingo
1. Students must be currently enrolled. Don’t think you can knock Florida off your list just by visiting a strip club in Gainsville.
2. Spring break acquisitions may NOT be...
Bright lights, Big city
Someone checked out my tumblr from a Barnes & Noble in NYC. It doesn’t matter who it was or why, it just made me miss New York in a way I haven’t missed it in a while. It’s ten years (exactly, as of two weeks ago) since I was last there, and that’s just too long.
Someday can’t come soon enough.
The LOST Premiere
I was not disappointed by the LOST premiere at all, which I didn’t expect to be, but was still a plus. I really dig the time travel stuff, and I’m interested to see where they take this. There was so much good about this episode, but my favorite “revelation” was that Sawyer’s nickname generator was still in full force!
My favorite? “Frogurt.” But he was...
This new commercial . . .
… makes me think of this classic scene every time I hear it
… and makes me think of this every time I see it
… but does not make me think of the actual product it’s advertising.
It’s definitely clever though :-)
YAY!!!!!
Also, check out the youtube.com front page today. I dig it.
Gah
So damn cute.
Eight years gone, a long time coming
It occurs to me, although I have cognitively known this the whole time, that many of the major milestones of my adult life since the dread Y2K have been eclipsed by a presidency and administration that ruled with fear and compromised the ideals upon which this country was founded over and over again. I mean really, the only “major” milestone in this decade that happened before the W...

Hahahaha! I heart making other people's blogs
And I love free “advertising” of my awesome lawyering skillz too:

i asked sara for some legal advice and she wrote this letter to my landlord:
Dear Isaac, you’re really hot. Do you want to give me a month off in rent? I know that someone as hot as you are understands this situation. It wasn’t our fault, and we couldn’t use our whole apartment for a month, so...
Today...
Today, I cleaned. Changed the sheets AND the comforter. I feel that if I don’t get my living space organized, I can’t really properly get my life together, as far as job interviews and whatnot. I have a ways to go, with cleaning and with life, but I’m on my way. The cold weather helps…when there’s nowhere to go and nothing to do, clean!
I really said this...oops!
Manicurist: Did you have to work today?
Me: No, I didn't, I'm not working right now.
Manicurist: That's nice! (or something along those lines)
Me: And where do you work?
Manicurist:

NPH on SNL (OMG)!
I surely have mentioned my NPH love before. And anyone who knows me knows I love Broadway musicals. So here ya go. Enjoy!

The Third Full Week in January
That week will be awesome because first, we get to watch this historic event:
Inauguration, what what!
And then, we get to watch THIS historic event the very next day:
What could be better, I mean, really?
And because I didn't do it before....
A quick rundown of my fantastic weekend in Lawrence and KC December 20-23.
I drove to Lawrence on Saturday night, 20 December to meet up with some friends I hadn’t seen since July or August. Fun fun fun. And much fun was had. We went to the Eldridge, then to the Tap Room for an oldies dance party, and then to an afterparty which got fashion photo-tastic.
The next day, Sunday, I mostly...

Back...again.
I got back to the states last evening. Just now, I finally FINALLY caught up with the massive amount of blog posts, tweets, and facebook happenings from the past 8 days. Dang.
I know I promised a post from my Lawrence trip, and now I have two to post. I’m thinking of doing the long versions on the Xanga and keeping the basic posts here.
When I get around to it.
Hehe.
