Faceblast
Ooooo! I couldn’t resist this one either. Hehe, sorry. After this I shall refrain from posting too much about my old life, but I lol’d at this one from October 23, 2004:
The facebook (www.thefacebook.com) is taking over my free time lately. It’s a fun passtime if you get bored, and a neat way to meet new people and find out what’s up with old friends too. Ew, I just...
Spellbound
The Spelling Bee was AWESOME this year. Seriously, I love these kids! They’re so effing smart. I was smart at that age, but they’re way beyond that. They’re so…dediacated. It’s pretty admirable. And after 8th grade, a lot of them never do this kind of stuff again, so it’s a pretty awesome event for those who make it that far. I won my 5th grade spelling bee, but...
Resolved: I was WAY funnier in undergrad than I am...
I blame Law School. It made me weirder, but my wit deteriorated significantly. Or just changed. But it’s interesting that I can read Xanga entries from six years ago and make myself laugh.
Hilarious blast from the past
Seriously, I busted out laughing after reading this. Please keep in mind that this was about three weeks into my great Summer 2003 Cookie and Milkshake Fast.
They held me down and shoved thin mints in my face
But I will never give in
They took me to Culvers, I watched them eat custard
But I will never give in
He told me about his homemade chocolate chip cookies
But I will never give in

No no no...
Equal and Opposite Reaction
The Good:
-Sonia Sotomayor
-my new blue dress
-seeing friends
The Bad:
-Proposition 8 being upheld
-general ignorance
-getting a random breakout (my skin almost NEVER breaks out, so this sucks)

Memories, Memorials
I just spent a bit of time reading some old entries in my Xanga from this time last year. I don’t really write in that blog anymore, but I keep it so that I can read subscriptions from a few of my friends who still use it. And every once in a while, I update it, so it’s not totally defunct just yet.
Anyways, it was funny to read back to what I was doing then (as it always is). I had...
What up, Tumblr?
How ya been? Pretty good? Well, I guess that’s better than bad. Nice chatting with ya. Oh, how have I been? Well….
I’ve been good. Not specatcular, but good. I’m excited about things that aren’t really set in stone yet, like moving soon, even though I don’t have a job yet, and I wouldn’t technically be “moving” until I actually got one, but...
Discussing the LOST finale (no real spoilers here)
Me: The fade to white was interesting. White background with "LOST" in black. First time for that.
Bro: Ooooooooo. Remember that time they ended it with "FOUND" in green?
Me: NO.
Bro: Ok.
I don't wanna grow up!
Tired of all of those surveys made up by high school kids?! “Have you ever kissed someone?” “Missed someone?” “Told someone you loved them?” “Drank alcohol?” These 38 questions are for people who are a little older. 1. What bill do you hate paying the most? Loan payments, currently. ICK! 2. Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?...
No, I haven't gone anywhere
I just haven’t had much to post about lately.
Actually…that’s a lie.
The last 2.5 weeks, my brother was back home from the island on his semester break. He went back on Saturday, and his classes started today. Woot. I sooo want to go back already. Or just go somewhere. I’m addicted to travel, and I don’t have the money to slake that thirst. (feel free to replace...
New girl crush
Natasha Khan, aka Bat For Lashes. Loved her performance of ‘Daniel’ on Letterman tonight (er…last night). AND she’s half Pakistani and was born there. Grew up in England, but ya know, whatevs. She looks a bit like Lily Allen too, but I guess she can’t help that.
May Day!
Flowers or workers’ rights. It’s aaallllllllllll goooooood.
North Carolina
So finally, almost two weeks after returning from the N.C., I’m writing my impressions, as best I remember them. This is my rundown of April 17-20.
Friday: My flight was in the morning, and I once again managed to get to and from my destination with NO delays. I could get used to this (but probably shouldn’t). After arriving at around 4:30 EDT, Kelly picked me up and we went back to...
