Last days in DC
I head back to Kansas early Monday morning.

RIP Ed, Michael, and Farrah.
Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson died yesterday. Really, just some short hours ago. Farrah had cancer. I hate cancer. Her death was somewhat expected, although pretty tragic. MJ’s death was…unexpected. Although he wasn’t really well, he wasn’t healthy, and I think the stress of preparing for his upcoming “curtain call” shows was too much for him. All the same,...

Trying to imagine living here, it’s not too much of a stretch. As always, keeping my options open.

Busy
Um, I’m going to DC tomorrow for two weeks. I don’t feel prepared yet in many ways. I still need to figure out what to pack, and how much stuff to take with me. I also need to get my professional stuff together, copies of my resume’, etc. Not so fun.
And I really want my room to be clean when I get back, so I probably need to work on that too today. And I have a few errands to...

My friend Nellie’s boyfriend Micah and his two climbing friends Jonny and Wade were lost in an avalanche in China a few days ago.
