Hi tumblr buddy!
I got your message a couple of weeks ago and wanted to let you know that if you sent anything, I haven’t received it yet. And if you haven’t that’s totally ok, just wanted to make sure nothing got lost!

It was awesome. And I took a pic with my phone. It was so awkward and made me look so disproportionate and weird that I decided not to post it.
I realize I could have taken my phone up to the bathroom and taken a mirror pic, but then I would have been the girl who takes her phone to the bathroom to take photos, and not just the girl who takes awkward self portraits over the lunch hour.

At forest I thought some light brown dirt or powder fell on my hair as I was styling it.
Then the smoke detector went off and I realized what happened. Blech!

aperk asked: Hey! To answer your headband question - they are Goody brand (I'm pretty sure) and I picked them up at the east Super Target. They look like regular plastic headbands, but that have a stretchy part and go all the way around your head. I tried to find a picture, but failed. Hope this helps!
Busy Weekend Alert
I’ve got the longest couple of days ahead. And it’s all awesome. Almost. I’m getting up a little earlier tomorrow* (earlier than 6am? That’s still late! says my college self), getting to work early and working through lunch in the hopes that I can leave early.

So this one time my parents came to visit me in Lawrence and we were eating outside at the Thai House (RIP) and an ICP concert was going on at the Granada. And my mom sat in silence for an hour (which is nearly impossible) and gawked as the screaming, made-up Juggalos walk by and I made REALLY FUNNY remarks about their makeup.

This is the first weekend since Josh moved up to Lawrence and since I got my new job that we haven’t spent the weekend together. He has a big and important exam coming up, and I have volunteer obligations this weekend, so it worked out ok. I just might miss him a whole bunch...
