zoolander 2!! (so hot right now) -

kristenfromkansas:

S- are you ready for this jellly?

I don’t even know what to say except…

“I hear a lot of words like ‘beauty’ and ‘handsomeness’ and ‘incredibly chiseled features.’ To me that’s like a vanity, a self-absorption that I try to steer clear of. I dig the bungee. For me, it’s just the way I live my life. I grip it and I rip it. I live it with a lot of flair. I live it on the edge, where I gotta be. I wasn’t like every other kid, you know who dreams about being an astronaut. I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere’s a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who’s a hero. The music that he’s created over the years - I don’t really listen to it. But the fact that he’s making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I’m selling? No. Do I know what I’m doing today? No. But I’m here and I’m gonna give it my best shot.”

“you’re kind of a klutz, huh?” —

vi, after i dropped a bowl of water that then hit the counter and splashed all over my face and shirt (via kristenfromkansas)

Rule #3: If your friend drops her tray bowl of water, then you must also drop yours, in solidarity. Thems the rules.

It totally worked

Googling “bathroom organization” ideas motivated me enough to actually reorganize and modify my bathroom to make it more zen..and stuff.

Now I can only hope this motivation lasts through the day so I can get started after work!

Spring cleaning makes me feel like it’s springy outside, even when it’s not.

Four hours later....

I’m all caught up on my interwebs! The last time I was at my computer was Friday evening. I’m not sure if anyone else out there actually does this, but I always have this need to catch up on all the things I miss. I guess I value the stuff people I choose to follow and read have written or posted. Or maybe I’m just nuts.

The weekend was awesome. Job interviews, expensive Chinese food and Karaoke birthday parties FTW!

Josh and I went to Lawrence yesterday, explored campus and the city a bit, and went to the game. Such a great day, I miss KU so much sometimes. The student life, the petty drama, the learning, the socializing, the personal growth. It’s different on the outside. Lawrence was covered in ice and snow, I walked more than I have in years, and in the end, I didn’t care one bit. It was good to be “home,” in a manner of speaking.

I gotta go back more often.

No. Way. Things I don’t expect? On Lost? Inconceivable!

I'm craving an early summer night

Just warm enough not to need a jacket. Summer dress weather. A light cool breeze and GREEN everywhere, even if it’s too dark to see. The smell of earth and life and energy. Insects buzzing.

Winter needs to take a holiday.
