Finished my first 5K this morning. Unfortunately, the course wasn’t properly marked, and there were no volunteers directing the runners, so everyone missed the turn. We were all told to turn around after running I don’t know how long. People ran anywhere between 2.9-4 miles today, so they can’t give out awards and they won’t post the scores.

Despite all that, I am happy I finished the race, rain and all. I didn’t melt, I didn’t die, and I even had fun.

On to the next one?
