I don’t actually like this prompt. It’s the first one though, so I’ll give it a shot. My favorite part about writing is the cathartic effect. Writing my thoughts out, even if no one else reads them, has always been the best way to release those thoughts from my brain (and often for me to see them “in the flesh,” and realize that even though they feel so extreme inside the space of my head, they’re actually not unmanageable).

Writing is my way of cleaning out my mind. What’s in there isn’t always fit for human eyes, but at least it’s out, and not racing around like a kitten on the ‘nip.
