I’ve got the longest couple of days ahead. And it’s all awesome. Almost. I’m getting up a little earlier tomorrow* (earlier than 6am? That’s still late! says my college self), getting to work early and working through lunch in the hopes that I can leave early.

After work I’m headed straight to Memorial Stadium for the KU-KState game! Rock Chalk. I didn’t think I would be able to go, but I have Friday off, so it worked out.

THEN, I’m staying in Lawrence all weekend, and going to Late Night in the Phog at Allen Fieldhouse! Heaven on earth. Can I get a Rock Chalk Jayhawk now! I haven’t been to Late Night since my senior year, so that’s awesome.

The rest of the weekend is up in the air, but there’s never nothing to do in Lawrence and KC, so yeah, I’m excited. I really need this weekend too. Last weekend was restful, and I am grateful for that, but I have to balance that out with something fun to look forward to. So hooray!

*Last week I set my alarm for five minutes earlier than I had been setting it. What a difference those little minutes made! I didn’t feel rushed and I was more relaxed. Worth the few minutes less of sleep. Now, if only I could stop waking up before my alarm!
