Bradley Fair Barnes and Noble today.

I went to B&N to see what they could do about my Nook Color (oh yeah, I got one of those as a belated birthday present, and would have blogged about it before but didn’t have a chance to really use it because it hasn’t connected to my wifi at home since I’ve had it).

As I was walking to the door, I saw stormtroopers walking out the door, followed by a crowd of picture-taking parents and kids. As I was waiting to get in the door, Darth Vader walked out the door accompanied by Boba Fett and some Imperial guard dudes. A stormtrooper held the door for me as I walked in and said something polite to me, although I was so bewildered I don’t recall what.

Apparently these guys were cosplayers just there talking pictures with people and walking around the store. The costumes were excellent, and the whole experience made me happy to have left my house today.

Note: I typed this on my phone, and every one of the Star Wars characters was already in this keyboard’s dictionary. Developer priorities :)
