2 notes &
If I am reading a book (or two-currently The Help and Catching Fire), I don’t read tumblr or google reader. And vice versa.
I read books a lot slower than I used to read them. Not sure what’s up with that, just an observation.
If I am tweeting a lot, I check facebook far less often. There’s no vice versa there, I generally don’t check facebook more often than twitter.
I don’t get as stressed about missing out on things, although I do miss the good posts from all of you more than I’d like. I have fewer reservations about hitting “mark all as read” when there’s just too much going on.
I can’t decide what all this means, if it even means anything. Maybe it just means that I can selectively multitask, and that I have a limited amount of brainpower I can dedicate to any given thing, so other, similar activities will be neglected.
Maybe it just means there are only 24 hours in a day. And sleep is much higher priority, which takes up precious internetting/reading time.
Sleep is truth. (hey, a Truthful Tuesday post without even trying)
