It’s cloudy today, so here is a shot of my solar powered “happy day” flower. The leaves wave and the flower bobs. It’s pretty cute actually.

People who come into my office always smile when they see it. I like that.

Last night it rained.

And something stirred up inside me. I felt feelings. Angsty, teen romance feelings. Quite possibly inspired by watching Switched at Birth on ABC Family. Guilty pleasure. But I haven’t felt feelings like that in many, many years. It was bittersweet, and kind of nice.

I feel restless, like big changes are imminent. And they are! Wedding (in OMG less than 9 months!), becoming a stepmom (I will write about this someday), grown up decisions, scary choices, risks. It’s a good restless though. Renewal, change, all that goody goodness.

Spring is coming. And it feels a whole lot better than winter.

I hadn’t bought any bridal magazines, and was just talking about doing that today, so these are perfect. I can think of so many things to buy worth the target gift card. The ornament is the best part! So cute, we’ll definitely cherish this always. So thoughtful. I love the thought that went into that. Of course, the three different kinds of Christmas themed chocolates didn’t go unnoticed.
